Fifteen members of the Industries Forum of the Taskforce for Lung Health have sent the open letter below to Dr Zubir Ahmed MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health Innovation and Safety, calling for the development and implementation of a respiratory Modern Service Framework (MSF).

This builds on our campaign calling on the Department of Health and Social Care to commit to an MSF for respiratory. As part of that campaign, we published a sector-backed Consensus Statement in November 2025, outlining why an MSF for respiratory is urgently required and the impact it could have.
